Starring in a reality show requires a certain amount of openness and exhibitionism – two qualities Lisa Wu Hartwell has in abundance.
"I don't have a problem letting people in to view our lives," she tells iVillage. "I mean, hell, we're on a reality show, right?"
That honesty helped the Real Housewives of Atlanta star, who's married to NFL player Ed Hartwell, open up about her fertility issues on camera. "My clock is ticking, and I need to hurry up," she says. "So my concern was like, 'Let's get this thing rolling. Can I get a boy and a girl at the same time?' "
Although 38-year-old Lisa is eager to get pregnant, she's already a mom to three sons: Jordan, Justin and Ej. So, how does she balance being a TV star, mother and wife? "You need time for yourself," she says "You need mommy time. You need to get pampered every once in a while so that you can go back and take care of your family. You have to put the oxygen mask on yourself first, before you can help others."
Check out our exclusive video to find out what Lisa's sons think of the show and her opinion of the other Housewives.
