Taylor Armstrong is the epitome of an extravagant 90210 housewife. As proof, last year she threw her daughter Kennedy a Magical Mad Hatter-themed birthday party that cost a whopping $60,000. Besides a few minor catfights with the other ladies, Taylor's life mainly revolved around trying to repair her marriage to venture capitalist Russell Armstrong.
Their efforts were for naught: Taylor filed for divorce in July and soon went public with allegations that Russell was abusive. And on Aug. 15, in one of the summer's most tragic stories, Russell committed suicide in a friend's home in L.A. All of RHOBH's second season had already been filmed, and the disintegration of the couple's marriage was to have been a central focus of the series. But, in light of Russell's death Bravo is now re-editing the show. What that re-editing means -- and whether Russell will appear at all -- remains to be seen.
