Brandi Glanville has had some work done, and she's not afraid to admit it. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 39, tells Shape magazine that she has maintained her youthful appearance with the help of a little cosmetic surgery.
"Yes, I’ll cop to a few plastic surgery procedures like Botox and fillers," admits the reality star. "I think everyone should do what makes them feel good but remember: Less is more!"
Glanville also reveals that she gets a spray tan "every week," and regularly has treatments to deal with skin issues that arose later in life.
"I also have issues like adult acne and Melasma (patches of skin discoloration) since I’ve had my kids, so I try everything -- lasers, photo facials -- and I wear hats all the time to protect myself from sun," explains the mother of two.
A model from the age of 17, Glanville says that she's "very self-aware" of her physical appearance, but that it's also simply "hard to grow older, especially in this town where everyone is perfect!" Still: she hates it when people accuse her of being artificial.
"People have said horrible things like I’m 'plastic' and I’m a bad mom," says Eddie Cibrian's ex-wife. "I think after three years of hearing it I have just developed a thick skin."
After the Shape story hit the web, Glanville also admitted on Twitter that she'd had breast implants -- though she backtracked a little bit on her magazine confession, tweeting that she'd had "just boobs" done, because "Botox and filler are not surgery."
We're not surprised to see Glanville cop to these particular procedures; in recent years, it's become totally acceptable for celebs to admit to getting facial fillers, and a boob job is practically a reality star right of passage. (Real Housewives of New Jersey's Teresa Giudice even got hers done on the show.) But it's still taboo for stars to admit to surgeries like a nose job or a face lift, even when it's totally obvious -- unless they claim it's for medical reasons, as in the case of Bristol Palin's new jaw (a "corrective procedure") or Jennifer Aniston's new nose (a "deviated septum"). So if Brandi Glanville has had additional surgical procedures, odds are good that she's keeping it to herself.
Whatever she's had done, it's certainly seems to be keeping her young: she was spotted smooching a very handsome (and much younger) mystery man last week in L.A.!
