'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' Are Back for Season 4: What to Expect

It looks like the women of The Real Housewives of New Jersey spent last summer yelling at each other. And, while we're not surprised, we sure are excited.

Once again, Teresa Giudice is at the center of the drama as season 4 premieres Sunday at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo. "There are evil people out there -- and sometimes they come in the shape of your friends," Giudice says in the drama-filled trailer (watch below).

In usual Bravo fashion, the promo whets viewer appetites with juicy soundbites, but keeps us guessing about the details of the drama. Though we get a sneak peek at Caroline Manzo's challenges this season -- including organizing her gay brother's wedding -- her role in various Giudice-inspired conflicts provokes her most caustic one-liners. "She's willing to destroy a family to get you out of her life," Manzo tells Giudice's sister-in-law Melissa Gorga, whose other storyline this season will involve pursuing her music career.

"Teresa, I'm your friend, but when I hear things that are going on, I don't know what I'm supposed to do," Jacqueline Laurita tells Giudice. Later, she tells the camera, "F*** you, Teresa. I see you for exactly what you are." The premiere episode promises to reveal the real reason Laurita didn't attend the season 3 live reunion (or will it?). Think Giudice's involved? Do these Jersey women use hairspray?

Another promo clip harkens back to the show's Godfather-like essence. "I'm your brotha," Joe Gorga tells Giudice. "We may have our disagreements, but I'll always be there for you." Guidice takes this opportunity to point out that when her husband went to jail for a week, Gorga never called to check in on her family. And that remark gives Gorga license to indelicately remind her of his past financial generosity when the lavish-living Giudices faced money shortfalls. (Her brother will always be there for her, and he'll always be there to remind her he was there for her, too.)

And the ill will appears to extend beyond the camera lens. The rest of the cast declined to do any season 4 promotion with Giudice. "It is so ugly between Teresa and the rest of the cast that they can't even be in the same room with each other," a source told the Huffington Post. "But this isn't one-sided, and the hate goes both ways. Caroline Manzo, Kathy Wakile, Jacqueline Laurita and Melissa Gorga want nothing to do with Teresa, and she wants nothing to do with them."

As for Giudice's bankruptcy-baiting hubby, Joe, he's facing jail time on fraud and impersonation charges. So this doesn't seem like the best time for Giudice to be alienating herself from her friends.
