The Real Housewives of New York City returns this evening for its third season, and it's bringing more drama than ever. Bethenny Frankel -- who penned the New York Times bestseller The Skinnygirl Dish -- told CNN.com, "It was a very crazy season. The craziest by far."
Frankel, 39, who has a wedding and baby on the way, has become something of a villain in the third season. According to US magazine, during tonight's premiere, Frankel's former best friend Jill Zarin tells fellow housewife Kelly Bensimon, "I found a new hobby and it's not hanging out with (Frankel)."
Bensimon, 41, also has her sights set on Frankel, who calls her "scary" and claims, "she's got issues." None of it was lost on Frankel, who went on to tell CNN, "It's really beyond drama-filled. It's way drama-filled. I think it's the most drama-filled of any of the seasons of any of the shows. There's a lot going on, and there's like mass hysteria."
Of course, not everyone is ganging up on Frankel. The New York Daily News reports that Ramona Singer held a season premiere party and while Frankel, Alex McCord and Sonja Morgan were in attendance, Zarin, Bensimon, and Countess LuAnn de Lesseps were nowhere to be found. A source at the event spilled, "There's a clear split between the cast, and you can definitely see it by who decided to attend Ramona's party."
The Real Housewives of New York City season premiere airs tonight at 11 p.m. on Bravo.
