Gretchen Rossi doesn't have it easy when it comes to her dating life on Bravo's The Real Housewives of Orange County. When we first met her on the show's fourth season, Rossi was branded a gold digger for dating the much older Jeff, who was dying of cancer. Now Rossi is snuggling up to Slade Smiley, a guy who's been around the block with the O.C. Housewives: He was engaged to Housewife Jo De La Rosa in the show's first season and had a previous rendezvous with yet another Housewife, Lauri Waring.
"I deserve the bad rap," Smiley tells iVillage exclusively in our video interview with the reality-show couple.
"Why?" Rossi asks. "Because you're a Housewife hunter?"
"Yeah, Housewife hunter," Smiley replies. "Tell your friends!"
At least Rossi and Smiley can laugh about his playboy reputation. And their openness on the show about their sex life makes it clear that Rossi is the only Housewife Smiley is currently hunting. "We gotta have fun with it. We have so much more than a sex life. There are so many other things emotionally, mentally spiritually that we have. The sex is just icing on top of it," Rossi says.
Plus, there's a good chance that their active sex life will lead to kids in the near future. "I'm 33. I better stop popping them out quick," Rossi jokes. "We want to be on the Brad and Angelina plan and have like six kids."
"Sixteen kids," Smiley chimes in. "We better wrap this up!"
