Beautiful, stylish and oh-so-sweet... your baby deserves a room that's as amazing as she is. But where to start? We know that decorating the nursery can be overwhelming -- from cribs to color palettes, there are just so many options out there -- which is why we're obsessed with these gorgeous real-life rooms. Get inspired by moms and dads who made beautiful decor decisions, and then borrow their ideas and get to decorating.

Color Me Glad
We love the cool, calming color palette of this room, with its deep blue, slate and cream tones. What saves it from being a little too calming (read: boring) is the injection lively color -- pops of warm red, orange and yellow -- throughout the room.

DIY Tip: If you've got wall-to-wall carpet (or a rug) in a shade you don't love, don't worry -- you're not stuck with it. Just add an extra, smaller rug on top. Extra cushy and soft is never a bad thing!
