Comic Book Banner

Finally, a reason to dust off those old comic books your hubby keeps in the attic. (Or, if he’s attached to them, you can make color copies of the originals or shop for old ones at a thrift store.) To make this banner, you’ll need a few comic books, a ruler, an exact-o knife, red extra wide double bias tape and a sewing machine (or hot glue).

Directions from One Charming Party:

1.First, carefully tear out the pages of the comic books.

2.Using an exact-o knife and ruler, cut the comic book pages from the two top corners to the center bottom to create a triangle.

3.Using a straight stitch on a sewing machine, tuck the triangles in between the bias tape fold and sew them in. (If you don’t have a sewing machine, you can use a hot glue.)

4.Leave a space at both ends for tying.
