'Red Dawn' (Nov. 21)

Short Story:
Getting drafted into the military is no joke. But saving your town from an invasion of North Korean soldiers? That's even trickier, and it's the job that Jed Eckert (Chris Hemsworth) is tasked with after North Korea threatens his country's freedom. He, his brother Matt (Josh Peck) and a group of their friends band together in this remake of the 1984 original.

Good for Kids?
Older viewers will certainly enjoy the action-packed Red Dawn, but it's not a movie for little ones. Common Sense Media's biggest warning? The film's "many intense battle scenes with lots of explosions and shooting."
