Would You Spend $1,775 on a Stroller? (Apparently, Reese Witherspoon Did!)

Now, we could be wrong here, but when your baby's stroller costs more than the used car you bought after college, you might have an issue with luxury spending.

Bugaboo -- the limousine of stroller lines -- is now offering a limited-edition Viktor & Rolf-designed version of the brand's Cameleon3 style that's been souped up and renamed "My First Car." The cost: a whopping $1,775, a. Just what the world needs.

And People.com reports that pregnant Reese Witherspoon is one of the owners of the 200 limited-edition sets of wheels offered only on flash sale site Gilt. That means her baby will be pushed in a pram that includes sports car–style fabric, a hand-stitched handle bar, rear silver alloy wheels with the Viktor & Rolf emblem and, naturally, a license plate that says “bb – ♥ – V&R”.

Aww, baby's first vanity plates.

If you had the dough, would you buy designer wheels for your tot? Call us crazy, but we'd rather tuck that cash into a college fund, use it to help out with daycare costs or spend it on a great family vacation. Plus, it might look just a little silly loading a stroller into a car that cost more than the vehicle. But that's just us.
