Reese Witherspoon: Divorce is "Isolating and Humiliating"

Here's what I love about Reese Witherspoon -- she's real and humble and will tell you when things suck. On the other hand, she'll tell when things are great, too.

Reese is Elle magazine's cover girl this month, and the mom of two is being really honest about her divorce from Ryan Phillippe.

"When people get in your face and say, 'This will pass,' you think: Are they crazy?" the actress said. "I'm never gonna feel any better than I feel right this minute and nothing's ever gonna make sense again. And I still have moments where I'm like, 'Nothing's ever gonna make sense again.' "

While Reese admits that the end of her union in 2006 was "very humiliating and very isolating," she realized, "If it's not painful, maybe it wasn't the right decision to marry to begin with. Those are the appropriate emotions."

But, even with all of that, Miss Sweet Home Alabama finds that she can still appreciate love and all the good things it brings -- like her boyfriend, Jake Gyllenhaal.

"He's fabulous," she says. "He really is a fantastic guy."

Let's hope Reese gets that happy ending she was looking for.
