Reese Witherspoon: How She's Preparing Her Kids For Their New Sibling

According to People, the mother of two has been open with her kids from the very beginning about her "plans to expand the family"

Reese Witherspoon has been married to agent Jim Toth for nearly one year, and they're still very happily in the honeymoon phase of their marriage.

"Reese still gets giddy when she talks about Jim," a source tells People. "She says that she feels so happy that he came in to her life. They are a great couple and bring out the best in each other."

And the blushing bride, 36, is even more blissed out now that she and Toth have announced they're expecting.

"Right after the wedding, Reese expressed a desire to have a baby with Jim," the source says. In fact, the mother of two even included her children with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe in the decision to add to the blended family.

"All along, Reese has been very open with her kids about her plans to expand the family," the source adds about Ava, 12, and Deacon, 8. "Especially [because] Ava is at a sensitive age, Reese always makes sure to consult with her. She is very respectful of Ava's feelings."

With her third baby on the way, the This Means War star is likely to step away from work and concentrate on her family.

"Reese has worked nonstop, but Jim takes great care of the kids in L.A. while she is out of town. Jim and Ryan [Phillippe] also get along fine and they have shared the responsibility while Reese is working."
