There was a time when you were inside your own mother's womb. Inside of the waters. And inside of the waters, ________, you could hear the beating of your mother's heart. You could hear those sounds through the waters, just as your baby can hear the sound of your heartbeat. And even as you relax the right shoulder in the same way, just beginning to breathe out any tension from your right shoulder right down through to the elbow and even deeper down through to the wrist and hand, right out through the fingertips. So that both arms, ________, like your baby's arms, begin to let go, to relax a little more, and a little more with each breath out. As your baby grows on the inside, as your baby knows how to grow without your even needing to think about it on the inside, you can take yourself right down into the hips, which have actually spread outwards in space. Your hips have spread outwards to make a cradling space, cradling your baby deep. Deep, deep inside your pelvis, even deeper than the month before, deeper than the month before that.
So that with your next breath, _________, just continue to breathe out any tension not needed from your right hip, right down through your thigh, to your knee. And with your next breath even deeper down through to your ankle, your foot and right out your toes. So that your right leg can just begin to let go, relax.
Now bring your focus to your left hip in the same way, just beginning to breathe out any tension from the left hip, _______, right down through your thigh to your knee. And even deeper down through your ankle and foot and right out your toes. So that your left leg too can just begin to let go, a little more and a little more with each breath down and out.
