1.) Do you think the parent/child teams or the married couples teams have the advantage and why?
Renee: The child-parent teams because usually parents will do anything for their children—even come on The Biggest Loser.

2.) Has your partner contributed to your weight gain before the show?
Renee: No

3.) Do you think losing weight with a family member is easier or harder than going it alone and why?
Renee: Definitely easier because you have the support of someone who loves you 24/7.

4.) What was the turning point in your life when you realized you needed to lose the weight?
Renee: I think for years as I continued to have to buy larger and larger sizes, I knew I needed to lose weight. When I saw a picture of myself about a year ago, I was in shock. Who was that huge girl in the picture? Me… I could not believe what I saw. The picture did not lie—it told me the truth… the scary truth of how far I had let myself go. It wasn't pretty.

5.) Who worked harder at losing weight—you or your partner?
Renee: I would say that’s a tie!

6.) What advice can you give to people who want to lose weight? What's the best advice you got?
Renee: It is NEVER too late to change your life! Stop making excuses. You can change your life starting today! Just Do It! Don't Stop! Never Quit!

7.) What's your favorite workout?
Renee: Spinning—the first time we did this on the ranch I thought it was some sort of torture device. Now, I love it! I love pedaling to the beat and pushing myself to the music!

8.) What's the best advice Bob or Jillian has given you?
Renee: Jillian would tell me that I was stronger than I ever believed I was and that I had been through a lot of harder things in my life… I just needed to believe it! One day I understood what she had said to me and I kept on going and never looked back!

9.) What's your favorite meal?
Renee: Healthy snack—baked organic blue corn tortilla chips and salsa. Meal—Grilled salmon, brown rice and grilled asparagus with lemon.

10.) What is one thing that happened behind-the-scenes that no one would know from watching the show?
Renee: Day after day, day in day out, we learned to enjoy the journey!
