Renee Zellweger: "I Was Born Happy"
It's pretty nice to be Renee Zellweger -- the good thing is that she knows it. On the cover of the new issue of InStyle, the movie star glows in green -- the color of the lucky four-leaf clovers she must keep under her bed.
Renee stars with her pal George Clooney in the new flick Leatherheads, which she says was a complete "no-brainer."
"I heard George was making a movie and I said, 'When?' If he had asked me to make peanut-butter sandwiches for the catering, I would have said, 'Crunchy or smooth?'" she laughs. "It's never less than great with him. And poor me, I had to watch guys throw a football all day ... Talk about living the dream."
In my mind nothing could be "less than great" with George Clooney. Which is why I am so happy to hear that this little lady doesn't have ounce of the "poor me" syndrome, that some really well-off people have.
"I'm fortunate," Renee says. "I think I was born happy. If I have a bad moment, it doesn't take me long to switch the gear back. I say, 'That sucked,' and move on."
One cool chick. Now, since that job of making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for George is open...
