Rep: Demi Lovato Will Spend Thanksgiving in Rehab

Instead of going home for the holidays, the troubled star will remain in her treatment facility

Earlier reports said that Demi Lovato would be leaving rehab in time for Thanksgiving. But now the starlet's people say she's not going anywhere just yet.

"Recent reports stating that Demi Lovato will be out of treatment by Thanksgiving are false," her rep said in a statement. "While she would, of course, love to be home for the holidays, she remains committed first and foremost to her treatment."

It was announced on Nov. 1 that the 18-year-old, Sonny with a Chance actress had quit The Jonas Brothers tour to enter a facility to deal with "emotional and physical issues."

"Demi has made tremendous progress to date, but understands that she has more work to do," the statement continued. "Unfortunately, the news outlet that reported this story originally failed to call us for comment or to fact check the story before it was printed."

Though she won't be sleeping in her own bed for the holidays, Lovato will still be surrounded by her family, who plan to be there to celebrate Thanksgiving with their loved one.
