Ricky Gervais must have done something right at the Golden Globes ceremony in January, because the British funny man has been asked back to host the awards show for the second year in a row!
Gervais revealed the good news on Ryan Seacrest's morning radio show Wednesday, admitting that he was pretty shocked that the Hollywood Foreign Press came knocking once again.
"I suppose it is flattering, to be honest, and it was a surprise," Gervais, 48, told Seacrest. "I had so much fun [the first time]."
The comedian admits that at this past year's ceremony, he cracked some jokes "thinking I'd never be invited back." But since he was, Gervais says he plans on really throwing caution to the wind during his second stint.
"I'm going to go all out this time," he quipped. "I'm going to make sure they're never going to invite me back!"
The 68th Annual Golden Globes will air Jan. 16 (8 p.m. ET) live on NBC.
