Rielle Hunter to Barbara Walters: I Hate My 'GQ' Photos

You know those scandalous photos of John Edwards' former mistress Rielle Hunter that accompany her new GQ interview? Apparently Hunter has been having second thoughts about showing America her underpants. So she did what any media-savvy celeb would do: She called up Barbara Walters.

On Monday's The View, a seemingly sympathetic Walters announced that Hunter had called her in tears, saying she found the photos in the magazine "repulsive." Hunter, the mother of Edwards' 2-year-old daughter Quinn, said that photographer Mark Seliger took plenty of respectable photos, assuring her that "there might be one" of the sexy shots. As for the seductive poses alongside children's toys and her own daughter? Hunter says she trusted the famous photographer and "went with the flow."

Sounds like Hunter realized too late what a bad PR move those photos would be. We have to admit, we had the same thought as The View's Sherri Shepherd when Walters aired Hunter's regrets: "She didn't think of that when she took off her pants?"

Watch Barbara Walters tell Rielle Hunter's side of the story, below, and read our take on her GQ revelations here.
