Rihanna & Chris Brown Are Back On! Here's Our Advice to Her

Since RiRi isn't listening to anybody when it comes to Chris Brown, we hope she keeps a few things in mind as their relationship heats back up

Hey, Rihanna, it's nice to see you shining so bright. The last time we've seen you this happy in the public eye is when you were first dating Chris Brown -- which is fitting, because the two of you have made it no secret that you're on-again. From being photographed together at the Lakers game on Christmas Day (pictured) to posting Instagram pictures of one another with captions like "ThugLife," it's clear to see your relationship is back up and running.

Of course, this all going to piss people off. While we would really prefer that you find someone new -- you're a hot number! Take advantage of that! -- we're going to trust that you know what you're doing. So, with that said, if you and Chris are happy together, then good for you two. No, seriously.

But as with any woman taking back a man who has hurt her in the past -- both physically and emotionally -- we'd feel a bit more comfortable if you keep some of these things in mind as your relationship with Brown heats back up.

First off, stop taking an "it's us against the world" stance on your love affair with Brown. The only reason people are rebelling against the fact you two are back together is because of the way he treated you last time. We get that it's "Nobodies Business" now, but it definitely was everyone's business when images of your bruised face hit the web in 2009. Just remember that your fans only want to see what's best for you, and they're not skeptical of Brown because of anything other than love for you. With that being said, we'd still love to see Brown act apologetic for his actions three years ago. Charity work, an open letter to battered women...anything.

Second, don't feel the need to rush into things. Brown clearly still has some stuff he needs to work out with ex Karrueche Tran, and there's no need for you to feel like you need to bend over backwards for him. Date around, don't settle down, and remember that you're only 24 years old. You have a lot more life to live and a lot more men to date.

Lastly, do what makes you happy. If that's dating Brown, so be it. If that's living the single life and focusing on your career, go that route. Whatever you decide, live your life for you because, at the end of the day, you're the person your actions impact the most. Fortunately it seems like you already have that mentality based on a tweet you posted recently.

"It is most important to be happy, eliminate negativity around you this holiday season," you wrote on Twitter. "2013 is way too futuristic for the same weak s--t." Cheers to that.
