Rihanna Dumps Manager; Teams Up with Jay-Z

The singer says she's "so excited" to join forces with the music mogul

Jay-Z has yet to confirm that he and wife Beyonce are expecting a baby, but one thing is for sure: The music mogul is definitely adding to his music family! Jay has professionally partnered with superstar Rihanna, and she will now be making hits under his Roc Nation Management.

Previously managed by Marc Jordan, Rihanna has found plenty of success in past collaborations with Jay-Z -- including multiple Grammy wins for their songs "Umbrella" and "Run This Town."

In a statement to the Associated Press, Rihanna says she is "so excited to take this next step in my career." The 22-year-old is also launching a new company called Rihanna Entertainment which, she says will "merge all of her businesses, including music, film, fragrance, fashion and book ventures."

Rihanna's fifth album, Loud, is due out Nov. 16.
