No one's going to be calling Rihanna fat any time soon. The 24-year-old singer has been spotted looking slimmer and slimmer recently, and claims that she doesn't have any control over her continued weight loss.
"It's difficult to have any kind of routine when your schedule is that crazy. So I really have no idea how I'm continuously losing weight," she tells Ryan Seacrest in a recent interview on KISS-FM radio.
And don't think she won't defend herself to skeptics. Rihanna definitely wants people to know she's not starving herself, saying, "People think I'm not eating. I'm eating McDonalds at 3 a.m . . . it's an issue. I'm eating ice cream!"
Turns out that her father, Ronald Fenty, is taking some of the credit for the change. And he claims that Rihanna isn't becoming scarily skinny, she's just returning to her former size.
"When I saw her this time, I thought she was back to her normal size," he tells Heat magazine. "I used to joke with her, 'Robyn, you're getting too fat!' But I think she's fine, I think she looked excellent, as everyone saw, at the Grammys. 'She's dieting, she's working out.'"
Rihanna had claimed that her previous weight gain, that is evident in her fuller figure six months ago, was a result of her constant touring schedule. She explained that she didn't have any time to focus on her diet while she was promoting her fifth album, Loud, but now that the tour is over she seemingly is back to working out and focusing on her trim figure.
But there's a definite downside to dropping all of that weight so quickly. "It's actually pretty annoying," Rihanna says. "Now, I don't have a butt, no boobs -- already had no boobs -- so annoying!"
