After months of silence, Rihanna is finally opening up. And it's looking like no topic is off limits these days.
In an interview with E! host, Ryan Seacrest, Rihanna spoke candidly about her relationship with her estranged father as well as how she's doing post Chris Brown.
"Normal? I wouldn't say normal," Rihanna said in response to Ryan's question if things had returned to normal. "It's definitely more intense. Every day is another curveball, but now I know how to handle it. Every time you get put in a situation, it somehow makes you stronger."
Her strained relationship with her dad remains is also a source of pain.
"I haven't heard from my father in over a year. I try though, I've reached out to him," she said. "He turned his back on me and went to the media and got paid to talk about stuff, like all these interviews after the situation in February."
The pop star also opened up about the nude photos that hit the internet earlier this year. In an interview with New York radio station Hot 97 yesterday, Rihanna admitted that the scandalous photos were, indeed, of her.
"They were for my boyfriend at the time," Rihanna said, referring to Chris Brown. "If you don't send your boyfriend naked pictures, then I feel bad for him."
Ri-Ri added that the photo leak was "the worst thing that could possibly ever happen to me," and that it was "humiliating and it was embarrassing – especially my mom having to see that."
In an attempt to soften the blow of having to see nude pictures of her daughter all over the internet (just two days before Mother's Day, mind you), Rihanna sent flowers to her mom.
"When the world is against me she's always there supporting," Rihanna said of her mother.
