Has Rihanna been hitting the donuts too hard while filming her "We Found Love" video in Ireland over the past few days? That what one bold fan of the 23-year-old singer suggested on Twitter -- and Rihanna agreed! saying that she also may have found too many donuts.
When behind-the-scenes photos of the video -- featuring a scantily clad Rihanna dancing in grain field -- hit the Internet, a fan tweeted the "S&M" singer to tell her that she looked a bit different in the snapshots.
"@rihanna looks fat in the we found love pics =[," Twitter user Trey Suede Raymond posted under the name LimmitedEdition.
An unfazed Rihanna retweeted the mention, adding, "I peeped that too *puts down donut*."
As expected, Raymond's comment was met with a deluge of backlash from the trim singer's fans. But Raymond -- who's a self-professed Rihanna nut (he lists her as one of his favorite artists on Facebook and has an image of her as his Twitter background) -- defended himself by saying that the singer's face looked fat in the photos. Sorry, pal, but we beg to differ.
Raymond is right about one thing, though: The barely-there handercheif bikini Rihanna is wearing in the photos certainly is eye-catching. It's so noticeable, in fact, that the Irish farmer who owns the grain field where the video was being filmed noticed Rihanna's "inappropriate wardrobe" (in some photos she appears to be completely topless) from afar on Monday, drove his tractor over to the video shoot and promptly retracted his permission to shoot on his land.
"I have an ethos and I felt it was inappropriate," 61-year-old Alan Graham told the BBC about the incident. "I requested them to stop and they did."
"We Found Love" has since resumed filming in a different location, presumably where farmers like red handkerchief bikinis.
