Rihanna might be single right now (at least, according to her), but that doesn't mean that she's not looking forward to potentially having a family somewhere down the road. During a recent visit to The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Rihanna told Ellen DeGeneres that she hopes to have children some day.
"Yes, eventually," the 24-year-old says slowly, before committing with, "I mean, absolutely."
The "Diamonds" singer has been rumored to be seeing ex Chris Brown again, but in this interview she claims she's flying solo. But don't expect her to take the single-mom approach.
"I mean, I would prefer to have a full family," Rihanna says. "I'm pretty sure I could handle it if I had to on my own, but that's not what I'm striving for."
The last time Rihanna was on DeGeneres' show, she told the host that it "sucks" being single -- but she seems more at peace with it now. When she visited The Ellen DeGeneres show last November, Rihanna said, "I'm not necessarily happy being single. It's not really that cool. My personal life is pretty much non-existent -- which is not good, not for the long run. Not for me, not for 'her,'" she added, pointing at her nether regions.
As for her dream man, Rihanna said, "I like men that are more aggressive, but mysterious, but I like a man to be very sure. I like them to be sure of themselves and know that (he's) the man. I'm the lady and the only way for us to make this work is for us to play our roles. You know, I really can't be the man for you. I don't want to be. I'm the man at work all the time."
