You might think being able to play the field sounds like fun -- especially for someone as beautiful and successful as Rihanna. But the 24-year-old superstar says she's over being single and ready to find a man.
"Single life is so overrated," the singer said recently on Britain's The Jonathan Ross Show. "It sucks. I have such incredible experiences in my life. You don't want to live your life and then meet someone. You want to share your life with someone. That's what I'm missing right now."
Rihanna, who infamously dated Chris Brown until their relationship ended with domestic abuse in 2009 (she recently collaborated with him on two new remixes, which has led to reconciliation rumors), has also been linked to baseball star Matt Kemp and Drake. And when RiRi is feeling heartbroken, she does what millions of other women around the world do post-breakup: She turns to Adele.
"I saw her at the Grammys and I love her," she told Ross about the British sensation. "I'm a big fan. … Her last album, 21, spoke to me so much. It was so personal to her, but I feel like everyone in the world identified with it, to the point that I had to stop listening because it was depressing me so much. If you identify with it, sometimes you don't want to hear about it."
Of course, Rihanna isn't single for lack of suitors. She reportedly was fighting off the male attention (big surprise!) during a recent night out in London.
"Rihanna came into the club last Sunday and a stockbroker spent ($105,000) on champagne, just so he could meet her," a source inside Aura nightclub tells People. "It worked too, as he went over and said hello soon after. But I don’t think he’ll be getting any friendship from Rihanna out of it, put it that way. She politely spoke to him but that was about it."
Looks like RiRi is looking for someone to do more than just buy her affection!
