This incredibly easy recipe from Top Chef's Ariane Duarte makes tender, delicious grilled steaks.
|4 8-12 ounce strip steaks||2 tablespoons olive oil|
|1 cup peeled garlic||Salt and pepper|
Place garlic, olive oil and thyme on a large sheet of aluminum foil. Wrap up tight and place on sheet pan in 300 degree F oven and let roast for about 45 minutes, or until soft. Puree in food processor or mash with fork.
Season steaks generously with salt and pepper. Rub with roasted garlic. For best results, let sit over night or at least an hour.
Grill to desired temperature of doneness.
