Robert Pattinson: Love Scene in 'Breaking Dawn - Part 2' Is "Pretty Ridiculous"

The honeymoon may be over for Bella and Edward, but Robert Pattinson says that the wildest love scene is yet to come. In an interview with Australian TV, the actor said that one of the hardest Twilight scenes he ever filmed was the sexy Breaking Dawn Part 2 romp that takes place after Bella (Kristen Stewart) becomes a vampire.

"The sex scene in this one is pretty ridiculous," Pattinson told The Kyle & Jackie O Show. "It's just because you're kind of shooting stuff to be PG-13, so it's just trying to think of inventive ways to make something sexy. But also it can't just be a normal sex scene. It's supposed to be about, like, the greatest vampire sex you've ever had."

In order to convey the vampire lust, the director had Rob and Kristen do close-ups of their O-faces straight to the camera. "It was literally like, 'try to give a face of ecstasy!'" Robert says of the filming. "We were just sitting there by ourselves. There wasn't even anyone else in the scene. We're doing it just to the camera, and the camera man is laughing as well." We're confident that the finished scene will be pretty hot. And hopefully, it's one that Pattinson will be proud of... unlike a certain scene from early on in the Twilight saga.

"I like the scene [in the first Twilight film] where Bella walks past Edward, she walks behind him and he's by his car. Whenever I see it, I'm just making the most ridiculous facial expressions," Pattinson laughed during his visit to the chat show. "I was so serious when I was doing it! And I look at it now and I'm like, omigod, you're on another planet."
