PHOTO: Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart Embrace in New 'Breaking Dawn' Pic

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart's real-life romance is on the rocks, but in the final Twilight film, they're still blissfully in love newlyweds -- and vampire parents.

In new Breaking Dawn -- Part 2 photos released by Summit Entertainment, Pattinson and Stewart are shown in character as Edward and Bella in various poses, including a romantic shot of them embracing in their favorite spot -- the meadow that features prominently in their love story.

If you look closely at the still, it's clear that Stewart's Bella is now a vampire, as suggested in the final scenes of Breaking Dawn -- Part 1. The husband and wife are also shown in another photo with their fast-growing "hybrid" daughter Renesmee and Bella's best friend Jacob (Taylor Lautner).

Devoted Twilight fans were slow to believe that Stewart, 22, cheated on Pattinson, 26, with her married Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, 41. The photos of Pattinson and Sanders published in Us Weekly in July led to Stewart publicly apologizing directly to Robert, who went into weeks-long seclusion at Reese Witherspoon's country estate until emerging this past week to promote his new film, Cosmopolis.

The larger question remains whether Stewart and Pattinson will promote the final installment of The Twilight Saga together or publicize the film separately. In the meantime, Stewart is scheduled to attend the Toronto International Film Festival in early September to support her upcoming drama, On the Road.

A source says Stewart "wants desperately to fix things and undo the mistakes she's made. She's having a very hard time."
