With only two films to go in the Twilight series -- Breaking Dawn - Part 1 hits theaters Nov. 18 and Part 2 wraps things up November 16, 2012 -- the vampire saga will soon be coming to an end. But if costars (and real-life couple) Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are to be believed, it's going out with a bang rather than a whimper. In an interview in the new issue of Entertainment Weekly, Pattinson expounds on the epic nature of Edward and Bella's passionate honeymoon sex scene, which features Edward biting pillows and, well, breaking the bed.
"I wanted to have it as a line so much: 'I bit through all the pillows. Every. Single. One.' And then he'd start crying," Pattinson, 25, tells EW. "By the way, that's what he should be ashamed of in the morning. All those beautiful pillows! Egyptian cotton! I ruined this bed!"
Stewart, 21, is more reticent about the sex scene, although she does admit, "It feels like a real love scene, not necessarily vampire-y, which is good."
K-Stew has much more to say on the filming of Bella and Edward's much-hyped nuptials. "It's a trip to watch the wedding scenes especially," she says. "It was so volatile and emotional -- I was being such a crazy person."
So how does Stewart feel now that the franchise that made her a star is winding down? "It's just so strange," she admits. "I can't get over it."
Neither can we -- and we are already counting down the days to Breaking Dawn -- Part 1's November premiere. Bring on the ruined bed!
