Twihards may want to take a deep breath before they read the next sentence. On Sunday night, Robert Pattinson was photographed leaving a Los Angeles bar with a beautiful woman who was not his Twilight costar Kristen Stewart. After at least two years of dating, are Pattinson and Stewart drifting apart?
The woman who was spotted driving away with Pattinson is actress Sarah Roemer, 27, who starred in the 2007 thriller Disturbia and last year's NBC series The Event. Oddly enough, she also appeared with Stewart, 21, in the Kate Hudson-directed 2007 short film Cutlass (which you can watch here, if you're so inclined).
So what exactly happened between Roemer and Pattinson, 25? According to U.K. newspaper The Daily Mail, the two actors were hanging out with friends in a Los Feliz bar. When the group decided to move on to the West Hollywood hotspot Soho House, paparazzi snapped Pattinson (incognito-ish in a hat, flannel shirt, and scruffy beard) jumping into a car with Roemer. The actress reportedly drove home at the end of the night with Pattinson in the passenger seat. True, she might have just been giving him a ride home -- but for what it's worth, an onlooker says that Pattinson was "literally fending off advances from girls, left and right," and that Roehmer was the only one who "caught his eye."
Stewart and Pattinson have been linked by the press since the first Twilight movie was released in 2008. For three years, fans have devoured every blurry photo of the pair sharing off-set PDA. However, it was only two months ago that Stewart actually admitted she was dating Pattinson, after accidentally mentioning her "English boyfriend" in front of a reporter from British GQ.
They're still pretty private about their relationship, so we wouldn't exactly know if they're seeing other people. Still -- with Edward and Bella just one movie away from happily-ever-after, seeing their real-life counterparts split up would make for a bittersweet ending indeed. So let's hope that R-Pattz and S-Roems are just pals.
