Rosie O'Donnell is not a fan of David Letterman's Late Show schtick -- at least, not when she's the butt of the joke. Letterman made a crack at the newly engaged comic's expense Tuesday, and now O'Donnell has used her OWN talk-show to fire back at him.
So what did Letterman say that was so bad?
"The woman she is marrying, her fiancee, was driving…and her car broke down," Letterman, 64, said Tuesday night. "And guess what happened? Rosie pulls up right behind her in her tow truck."
During an episode of The Rosie Show airing Friday night on OWN, O'Donnell, 50, slams Letterman for the dig, which she deems anti-gay and just plain unfunny.
"Why is that Dave? Why? I don't remember making fun of you when you had sex with all your interns! I didn't do that," she complains. "I didn't make fun of your rampant, throbbing heterosexuality, did I Dave?"
Rosie also takes the opportunity to create a list of her "Top Five Reasons Why I Will Not Do Your Program." One of them was a particularly low blow.
"Dave, when you had that heart surgery, you shouldn't have told the doctors to take out that whole thing," O'Donnell says. "I remember when you had one, Dave, you were nice then."
And, for good measure, she adds: "Not only do you appear to be anti-gay, you're anti-tow-truck driver. And that just pisses me off."
