I don't know whose idea it was it hire Rosie O'Donnell on the View, but I want to give them some serious props. I swear this Rosie justs gets more and more entertaining as the days go by. This week's hullaballoo: According to the NYPOST, yesterday morning, when Rosie returned to the View from her vacation, she was in the hair and make-up room when Barabara came in to give Rosie a welcome back hug and that is when Rosie called Barbara Walter "an [expletive] liar." Apparently "talk to the hand" wasn't good enough. Rosie felt like Barbara didn't back her up during the whole Donald Trump Fiasco that has been unfolding in the media for weeks, mostly due to Trump and family who won't shut up about it. Seriously, Donald, get over it! Walters told her, "I did everything I could to squash the story" - prompting Rosie to scream, "You didn't call me for 10 goddamn days, and you didn't tell me what you were going to say on television!" O'Donnell is fuming because Trump went on Larry King two weeks ago - after she had called Trump a "snake-oil salesman" - and said Walters told him she regretted hiring O'Donnell. Trump also blasted the comic as "a horrible human being and a loser." I know Barbara is very old and respected and has had a storied career and made all the in roads for women in journalism, but I'm wearing my Team O'Donnell T-shirt right now. Barbara didn't back her up and instead opted for reading some stupid ass statement written by the legal eagles from ABC. She's a coward and perhaps Rosie is right, she's a liar too!
