Of Course There's a Prince George Royal Baby Doll for Christmas

A German-based toy company has found a way to go around the laws preventing anyone from capitalizing on the royal family to bring us a Baby George doll

So, no, there’s nothing officially "royal" about a new doll wearing a onesie that says "My name is Baby George" next to a heart-shaped Union Jack, but for those obsessed with Kate Middleton and Prince William -- um, we mean, for all those kids out there -- could this be the toy topping Santa’s wish lists?

The U.K.’s Mirror reports German toy company Zapf has updated its top-seller, the 18-inch Baby Annabell, to resemble Prince George.

“When your little prince or princess looks after him, Brother Baby George will respond by making realistic sounds and facial expressions,” the company notes.

Now, according to the newspaper, there are serious rules in the U.K. banning businesses from profiting from the Prince’s image, but, it adds, Zapf insists Baby George is just “honoring his arrival.”

However, he does come with a royal price tag: $16 more than Baby Annabell, at $77.

For that amount, he better come with a crown jewel, tool.
