Run After Your Kids

Kids a handful? Lucky you, because the Centers for Disease Control says caring for young children (especially uncooperative ones!) is a great way to get your heart pumping. Heavy lifting, like carrying your kid up the stairs or getting him into or out of the car seat, chasing him around the house until he puts on his shoes or even giving him a bath add up to a lot calories burned -- 135 an hour to be exact. Be sure to thank those little monsters ... er, angels, for the workout.
