Talk about a whirlwind romance! Comedian Russell Brand and singer Katy Perry are engaged after only three months of being together!
A rep for the British funnyman confirmed the news on Wednesday, People.com reported. Brand reportedly popped the question with a ring while vacationing in India recently and the "I Kissed a Girl" singer accepted. And Perry Tweeted early Wednesday from Thailand with a reference to an Alanis Morrisette song "Thank U": "So when do I start walking the streets naked singing that Alanis song?" (Lines from the tune include "How about me just enjoying the moment for once" and "Thank you India.")
Brand and Perry have only been dating since September, after the bad-boy Brit was mesmerized by the pop star at the MTV Video Music Awards.
A friend of Perry's tells UsMagazine.com she's "never connected with anybody like this," and that her hubby-to-be "is super into her. She says he makes her laugh like nobody else in the world."
