British comedian Russell Brand loves the ladies. In fact, the only thing he seems to love more than women, is talking about how much he loves women. His comedy routines make frequent mentions of his impressive sexual track record, and his autobiography details his struggle with "sex addiction."
Could one of the world's sexiest pop stars drive him to monogamy?
Brand and Katy Perry have been an item since the VMA awards last month, where he MC'd and she opened the show. (His unlikely come-ons included an announcement that he was glad Perry didn't win anything, since she was staying in his hotel and would need consoling.) They've been acting like lovesick teenagers lately, right down to the naughty text messages.
One of Brand's exes, however, is skeptical of the relationship. Burlesque dancer Georgina Baillie, who was linked to Brand in the past, told Life & Style magazine that "Russell likes the idea of having a serious relationship, but when you've got all these different flavours of ice cream offered to you on a plate, you're not going to stick with vanilla, are you? I don't think he's capable of monogamy." To this harsh assessment, she added: "Everyone knows you don't date Russell Brand seriously."
Despite the warning, Katy seems pretty serious about Russell. Although he isn't the kind of guy you'd normally bring home to your (strict Christian) parents, she's reportedly planning on doing just that.
