Russell Crowe & Danielle Spencer

It looks like Russell Crowe may be a single man again. The Academy Award winner and his wife, musician Danielle Spencer, have separated after nine years of marriage, Australia's Sydney Morning Herald reports. The couple, who met on the set of The Crossing more than 22 years ago, have two children together: sons Charles, 8, and Tennyson, 6. Although the Gladiator star has yet to confirm the news, the Morning Herald says the split is amicable and that the boys will stay with Spencer in their Sydney manse, while Crowe stays in the States shooting his latest film production, Darren Aronofsky's biblical drama Noah.
