Ryan Gosling is a superstar in his own right, but even someone of his caliber can't help but be in awe of George Clooney. The two studs are teaming up for a new flick, The Ides of March, in which Clooney is doing double-duty as the star and the director.
So, what did Gosling think of Mr. Clooney?
"Yeah, he’s dreamy," the Crazy, Stupid, Love. star told New York Magazine.
The actor was so impressed with Clooney's talents, he took a page from Jay-Z -- who likened wife Beyonce to the late great Michel Jackson -- and compared Clooney to the King of Pop, as well.
"It was amazing, like watching somebody try to explain a song in their head," Gosling said of Clooney's directing talent. "I can only compare it to seeing Michael Jackson in This Is It, where he’s trying to explain to a keyboard player how to play a certain part -- even in the sea of parts being played, he can pick that out. That’s kind of what George is like. He’s like Michael Jackson, basically."
And if the Michael Jackson comparison wasn't quite clear enough, Gosling said Clooney reminded him of another entertainment icon.
"He’s like Bugs Bunny," the actor deadpanned. "He’s good at everything, and nothing really fazes him. He’s Bugs Bunny, and I’m Daffy Duck.
