Ryan Gosling

For someone who's so bashful about his good deeds, Ides of March star Ryan Gosling sure does a lot of them. In April 2012, Gosling saved a British journalist named Laurie Penny from being hit by a cab while she was crossing the street. "I literally, LITERALLY just got saved from a car by Ryan Gosling. Literally. That actually just happened," Penny reported on Twitter. Just eight months earlier, Gosling had been captured on video breaking up a New York City street fight; he later said he was "embarrassed" by the whole incident. "I think the guy really was stealing that other guy's painting, so I should have just kept my nose out of it," the actor told MTV News. "The guy was a fan, and so he wanted the painting so bad he had to steal it because he couldn't afford it. So he finally steals the painting, and then he's getting his ass kicked by his hero, and then the guy from The Notebook shows up and makes it weirder." Sounds like somebody could use a secret identity!
