Ryan Lochte on 'SNL' Impersonation: It Was "Pretty Harsh"

After Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane spoofed Olympian Ryan Lochte on the season opener of Saturday Night Live, the medal-toting swimmer had his own thoughts about the impersonation.

"Well I gotta admit that was a pretty harsh one, but it's cool to have Seth parody me," the Olympian told Celebuzz. "I think he pegged me wrong, but when I heard he did a skit I knew I was in for it!"

MacFarlane, 38, parodied Lochte's laid-back attitude by pretending to be borderline illiterate during a segment of "Weekend Update." Asked to weigh in on the new primetime television season, "Lochte" shared his thoughts on shows which he routinely mis-identified. He also demanded a juicebox and couldn't count the number of fingers he was holding up throughout the segment.

Despite the impersonation, Lochte didn't seem as upset as other famous stars who've been skewered on the comedy series.

"It's all in fun and of course if I'm talked about on SNL I know they are gonna get me 'Go-od,'" he said, referring to the way MacFarlane mispronounced easy words.

Maybe Lochte, like Michael Phelps before him, will eventually be asked to host Saturday Night Live and poke fun at himself.
