Get the babyproofing basics

Pet Food and Toys
Pet food and toys can be hazardous to a baby. If there's a piece of hard dog or cat food on the floor, a baby will eat it. It's big enough to choke on, and it won't dissolve! Small pet toys can be choking hazards as well, and they are just the right size to entice your baby.
Helpful Hint: Your pet can't and won't put his toys away, so be aware of them and make sure you keep them out of baby's reach.
