Season 10 of ABC's Dancing With the Stars has their first cast-off before it's even underway, now that host Samantha Harris has announced she will not appear on the next season of competition.

"I've loved every aspect of my time at Dancing With the Stars," Harris, 36, told UsMagazine.com. "I've lived and breathed this incredible show for the last eight seasons, making lifelong friends along the way.  It has given me so many wonderful opportunities."

When the show kicks off its 10th season on March 22, host Tom Bergeron will have a new sidekick, as Harris is preparing for her "expanded responsibilities on The Insider."

"It has been an absolute pleasure to work with Samantha," ABC rep Conrad Green said. "She will be much missed, but always part of the DWTS family. We support her and wish her all the best in her future endeavors."

Harris joined DWTS in its second season, taking over as co-host for Lisa Canning. Her replacement has not yet been announced.
