Despite all her personal woes (including rumors of a sex tape), Sandra Bullock is still taking her role as stepmother very seriously. According to TMZ, Bullock, 45, reportedly has her estranged husband Jesse James' three children in her care.
A source close to the couple says that Chandler, 15, Jesse Jr., 12, and Sunny, 6, are living with Bullock at an undisclosed location (the Oscar-winner is reportedly not currently in her Hollywood Hills home).
The same source said Bullock's decision to take in James' children while they deal with the fallout of his infidelities is "a positive sign about Sandra's relationship with Jesse." James, 40, had recently entered rehab "to deal with personal issues," but reportedly left after one week when his angry wife was not participating in a group therapy session over the phone.
In recent years, Bullock has often talked about her close relationship with her stepchildren. In 2007, the actress told People, "I have children, amazing children. My love and my want for their future and their happiness, for their homework to be done and for them to know how smart and beautiful they are is no less than if I'd had a child on my own."
