It seems perfectly reasonable that Sandra Bullock wouldn't want to speak to Jesse James right now. According to Friday's New York Daily News, their few phone conversations have been "very little and very nasty." But on Wednesday, Radar Online revealed that Bullock has started talking to James again... through intermediaries. "They've been passing messages back and forth," says Radar's inside source.
The estranged couple did allegedly have one last face-to-face, the source says -- and it didn't go so well. "(Jesse) went from being very demanding to being in tears, then back to demanding again." (Note to all cheating husbands: Being demanding after cheating? An inexcusable state of affairs -- no pun intended.)
The word "intermediaries" is a little ambiguous here; it could mean they're sending messages through friends, or through paid help (their managers, perhaps?). Alternately, it could mean that they've hired a lawyer as a neutral party to help them keep things civil. If Bullock is truly thinking of divorce, as rumored, she may be considering a professional mediation as an alternative to a court hearing -- and this could be the first step. Or it could simply be the closest contact she can handle right now.
