Sandra Bullock continues to build her new life with her new baby boy -- and without Jesse James. The actress appears to be moving to New Orleans, the birthplace of her 3-month-old son.
Movers from a Texas moving company were spotted unloading furniture into the $2.25 million Louisiana mansion that Bullock and James had purchased together before his cheating scandal broke. According to E! Online, a whole slew of furnishings were brought in to the new home, including sofas, chairs and paintings.
Bullock, who shocked the world earlier this week with the news that she had secretly adopted son Louis Bardo in January from The Big Easy, was not on hand for the big move, but told People magazine that she had plans to settle down in Mardi Gras city.
"New Orleans is his city, and he is going to know it inside and out," she said of her baby.
"Without the spirit of the people who live there and take care of the city and honor its traditions, its love for music, its love for life -- take those people out and you don't have why I love New Orleans so much."
