Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds swear they're just friends... who take vacations together! The Proposal costars were photographed by paparazzi last weekend hiking through Wyoming's Grand Teton National Park. The kicker: Reynolds, 34, was carrying Bullock's 17-month-old son Louis in a backpack. Basically, it's the cutest thing ever. But could it be love?
An insider tells People that despite the cozy photo, Bullock, 47, and Reynolds were actually vacationing with a "big group of friends" in Jackson Hole.
"They are like family, like a brother and sister," says another source. "It's not a love affair. They've been friends for over 10 years, and they care for each other deeply. They support each other and have a lot of fun together."
The single stars, both coming off their divorces (from Jesse James and Scarlett Johansson, respectively), started everyone buzzing when they shared a New Year's date together in January. Bullock has insisted that there's not romance, but everyone seems to be rooting for them -- including some of their own pals.
"They're very close and talk together a lot," a friend of Ryan's tells Us Weekly. "It would make sense for them to pair up romantically, but for now, they're just friends."
And for now, we'll just keep hoping. (By the way, is it weird that we're impressed with the paparazzi for hiking through the wilderness to get this shot? And here we thought they just camped outside Lindsay Lohan's house all day!)
