It's easy to get stressed out around the holidays. But thanks to her adopted son Louis Bardo, Sandra Bullock is seeing this Christmas through the carefree eyes of a child.
"He's made me a better person," Bullock tells iVillage about her adorable little man, who turns 2 next month. "He's made me enjoy life in a way I never thought possible. I look at Christmas now like he does. Everything is sparkly and fun and exciting. There's not a moment that shouldn't be filled with laughing and joking and running and chasing and little cars. I feel like I get to be a kid and I see it through his eyes, and I'm so grateful for that."
The 47-year-old actress, who stars in the upcoming drama Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close (in theaters Dec. 25), also offers up some sound advice to other mothers.
"I think if you're really aware and conscious of every minute, you will learn so much from your children," says the single mom. "They have so much to teach you. Don't rush it. Savor every moment. You just need to enjoy every single second."
