Sandra Bullock's sister has had enough! Gesine Bullock-Prado is speaking out on her blog to slam false rumors about her big sister's whereabouts, specifically during Easter weekend.
Bullock-Prado recently wrote on her blog Confections of a (Closet) Master Baker that she is "deadly serious about my family, their privacy and even the most benign fictions printed about them," according to Access Hollywood.
One of the outrageous claims addressed last week by Bullock-Prado (who runs a bakery in Vermont, according to People.com) is the report that Bullock, 45 -- currently keeping out of the public eye after allegations of husband Jesse James' affairs surfaced -- spent Easter in Vermont with relatives.
The post written by Bullock-Prado read:
"Apparently I'm able to time travel because according to Star Magazine, radaronline.com and now my local Vermont favorite (and in this I’m being totally honest, it is my favorite) Seven Days, it’s reported that my husband of eleven years and I took my sister to some inn (which shall remain nameless because they’ve gotten enough free publicity from lying up to now) for Easter dinner."
“I know this isn’t about pastry and it’s not about running a bakery. But this story is about eating and I’m nothing if not deadly serious about eating....Usually I don’t have the patience or the actual physical evidence to refute printed stupidity. But modern air travel is so cluttered with paper trails, I thought I’d share mine."
“So to set the record completely straight, if the post on Easter about gorging my way through Chicago doesn’t convince you to my whereabouts and only my whereabouts, then let my reservations on the lovely United Airlines be a true and honest testament to what I ate for Easter dinner and with whom, and it wasn’t with my lovely family at some nameless Vermont inn I’ve never set eyes upon."
She concluded her post by writing, "That night I ate alone and I ate airline food. And who the hell would lie about that?”
Meanwhile, Bullock's sis isn't the only one happy to speak up for her during this tumultuous time. The Blind Side star's friend George Lopez has been vocal about his support for her since the news broke. Lopez, 48, reportedly told E!'s Daily 10, "She's my fairy godmother. She knows how much I care about her. And, you know, when times are tough, friends step up," adding, "She's a beautiful person, and when she needs friends, of course I'm going to be there."
