Sarah Jessica Parker’s name might be synonymous with Manhattan these days, but she was actually born in Ohio on March 25, 1965. It didn’t take long for her family to recognize her formidable talents as a performance artist, and they relocated to New York so she could take singing, ballet and acting classes. It all paid off! At the age of 11, SJP -- and her older brother Timothy -- accepted a role on Broadway in The Innocents. She made her way down the Great White Way three years later and landed the lead role of the lovable scrappy orphan in Annie.
