Each week, we pick one woman who's done something to make us proud. This week, we're loving Sarah Jessica Parker for reprising the complex, hardworking, iconic role of Carrie Bradshaw and -- as producer -- giving eager fans the fantasy adventure they crave: Sex and the City 2!
After starring on HBO's Sex and City series, SJP and her cast then dazzled moviegoers two years ago, in the first Sex and the City movie. Since then, Parker has listened to her enthusiastic, largely female audience and now she's keeping the story of the four fabulous Big Apple BFFs alive. As producer of SATC2, she hasn’t missed a step with the press -- always gracious and supportive of her fan base.
Above all, Parker is a mom who had a very big year -- welcoming twins last June via a surrogate, two beautiful (and someday, we bet, style-savvy!) daughters who join her son James and hubby Matthew Broderick. Raising three kids with love, while juggling an intense film career? SJP's a role model for more than just her fab wardrobe.
